[[en]]The architectural design major is a combination of art, science, math and business. Architectural design students need to have passion for designing terrain and architecture, and also they need to have the skill in analysis, planning and communication. In this major the students will learn professional softwares, and the ability to implement the architecture rationally with limited budget.
[[zh]]建筑设计专业是艺术,科学,数学与商业的结合体。一名建筑设计学生,需要对设计地形与建筑拥有热爱,并拥有一定的分析,制定计划能力与沟通能力。在这个专业里会除了学习艺术设计以及实现作品的绘图或建模软件,也会学习如何合理地建造建筑以及资金管理。

[[en]]Digital media art is commonly used in animation, game and film industries. There are a variety of positions in the industries, like concept artist, 3d modeler, animators.
[[zh]]数码艺术常见于动画,游戏与影视产业,其中包括的职位也很多,比如原画师,建模师,动画分镜,动画师等等。原画,下面简单地做一下介绍:

[[en]]Concept artists are the important roles that are responsible for the styles and looks of movies, animations, or games. They need to draw characters, environment and\or props according to the game ideas, thus creativity, imagination, solid art foundation, and knowledge in different aspects are the crucial abilities of the concept artists. They also need to be a teamplayer, since their sketches are used to help 3D artists, animators, producers, programmers and publishers understand how the game will look.
[[zh]]原画是赋予电影、动画或游戏艺术风格奠定基础的重要角色。原画师需要将策划出来的人物,场景,物品等具象化,所以作为原画师创造力,想象力与过硬的美术功底是必不可少的。一位好的原画不仅需要拥有过硬的艺术基础,也需要具备相应的文化常识与知识,与和团队良好的沟通协商能力,为团队提供清楚的思路与视觉感受。

[[en]]3D modelers need to create assets according to the concepts accurately, so it is really important to capture the structure of one moving being or object. Modeler to learn softwares like Maya, Blender, Zbrush for modeling,and Substance Painter, 3D Coat or Photoshop for texturing.
[[zh]]3D 建模师需要将原画创造的人物、环境、道具等用3d的形式精确地还原出来。因此对于人物动物或机械等等的结构理解是必要的。建模师除了会使用Maya, Blender以及Zbrush等软件来制作模型,还需要用Substance Painter等软件进行模型上色。

[[en]]Animators need to have a keen eye for the surroundings and capture their movement. They also need to have strong art skills and aesthetic, and passion and patience. Animation programs will introduce the pipeline of the animation industry. There is quite a difference between 2d animation and 3d, like the softwares used in the two are completely different. 2d animations are mostly hand drawn, while 3d needs to create a model for manipulation.
[[zh]]一名动画生需要保持对事物的观察力,对动作的捕捉能力,扎实的美术功底和审美,以及对于一个作品的热忱与耐心。动画专业会带着学生们全面了解动画产业,并教授相关软件,故事人物塑造等知识点。2d与3d的制作方法与使用的软件与制作流程有很大的不同,2d需要逐帧绘制,3d则是先建模再操作。

An illustrator needs to create inspiring illustrations with different material that can convey messages to the audience. As an illustration major student, you need to have aesthetic, creativity, comprehension and communication, and keep thinking critically about the world and our society.

Interior design students need to have the ability in creativity, aesthetic, time management, responsibility, an eye for noticing problems, and follow the universal accessibility standards.

[[en]]In NA, Interactive Art generally refers to working through technology to create art. There are two main branches to this area of study, interactive fine arts and user experience (UX).
[[zh]]交互设计是一种运用电子科技和艺术的结合的艺术形式。在北美,交互设计主要分为两个专业方向:互动美术和用户体验(UX)设计。

[[en]]Students pursuing interactive fine arts learn to use programming to create responsive artworks. This sometimes means the artwork responds differently depending on the viewer's inputs and sometimes means a program will use an algorithm to generate the artwork. Interactive art is different from digital art because digital artists focus on using software to make art, but interactive artists make both the art and software through programming.
[[zh]]互动美术是指用电脑编程来创建会对互动有反应的艺术作品,所以互动美术和 digital art 也少有差异,digital art 会使用软件来制作数字艺术作品,而互动美术不但包括制作艺术作品而且也包括作品背后的程序。

[[en]] On the UX design side, students learn to design and refine the interactions within an artificial system like websites or apps. Students learning UX generally learn less programming but are expected to learn more about the psychology of interactions behaviours, often referred to as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Over the past decade, more company are looking for UX specialists to develop more user-friendly software.
